Hello! It looks like a new version was released but isn’t working just yet. No pressure!!! I know you guys can figure it out – just wanted to leave some encouragement, not pressure. I’m confident in your team. Looking forward to the beautiful changes. I will follow the GitHub thread for updates. Take care :D

The fix for this bug requires a complete redesign of the app. The work is mostly done, but is currently undergoing internal testing, and the testing phase is longer than usual because the changes to the app are so extensive.
In the meantime we’re still releasing minor updates to the existing version of the app, so you might see a few more of these before the big update lands.

Our developers have released version 7.0.5 of the desktop app which should fix this issue.
Please update to this version and let us know if you still have this problem. Thanks!

Hi, I’ve updated the app. When I launch it, only a white blank screen appears with the small WordPress logo on the top left corner. I click on it and then the app starts. However I cannot do anything, anywhere I click, I get the empty white blank screen. So you should keep working on the solution :-( I have iOS 10.15.7 Catalina

Deleted, reinstalled – same, didn’t change: empty white screen, W logo on the top left corner, a ? mark on the bottom right corner.

I am experiencing the same as oktweb.
1. Uninstalled WordPress Desktop
2. Installed v 7.0.6
3. Opened it
4. White screen appears with the dark gray menu with the < > and W logo buttons.Thanks! You guys can do it!! WOO!

@oktweb, @formymaker, it looks like the white screen you’re seeing is a new, separate issue. We’ll need to get some logs from you to investigate that, so I’ve sent each of you an email. Please attach the app logs in a reply to that email.
