Getting featured image of article to post on FB
-
Does anybody know how to get the featured image of a post to publish on FB instead of our header? When we publish automatically or copy and paste the link, we’re still getting our header. Please see https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-St-James-Project/481144465331738.

Aside from what’s at this link http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#images-in-publicize we have no control over the images that Facebook chooses to display or when they choose to flush their image caches. We really only send them the URL of the post, and they hunt through that for the excerpt and images to include.

Finally figured this out…or rather jeremylduvall of WordPress did.
I needed to go to Dashboard, Settings, Media, and change the thumbnail size to at least 200 x 200. It’s extremely simple but makes all the difference. Now I’m posting to FB properly.

I’m so happy to hear Jeremy was able to resolve this. Thanks for letting me know how that was done.
