Getting full access to files to transfer hosting

  I have a site hosted by wordpress. I am looking to transfer all files to host with another provider. How do I get full access to transfer all files? I am more familiar with the unlimited access a ftp control panel allows.

  The published images will move over at the time of import. So, you need to create the new site, then import, make sure to check the setting in step 2 to also import images, then wait for the images to fill in. The images need to remain available on the current site during the import / image transfer.
