Getting Google ADS Shown On My WordPress Website

How Do I manage to put Google ADS on My WordPress account. Every time I get the AD Code from my Google account and place it on the “TEXT” widget the whole code disappears. Every video I have seen to help me with this issue relates to “PLUGINS” which WordPress doesn’t even have no more so its useless information. Hopefully someone could guide me step by step on how to get ADS shown on my Website. Thanks

How easy is it to convert from wordpress.com to wordpress.org site? Can you migrate all your content easily?

Thanks for the info. I’m new to this so I really didn’t know much. So in order to get ADS on your website you need to get accepted with Word Ads first right?

You can also move off WordPress.com to an independently-hosted site, but usually the ad income doesn’t offset the hosting costs.
