Getting HTML editor stuck in Visual toolbar

  Is anyone else having problems with the editor? I’m using Firefox 3.5, and when I go to write or edit a page, I’m getting both the visual and HTML editing button bars. I can’t switch between the two. I can still shut off the visual editor on my user profile, but I prefer to use visual mode most times. Of course, using visual makes it impossible to edit HTML when I want to, and I need to save, go to user profile, shut off visual, and return to edit mode to get there.

  The problem doesn’t seem to show up in Internet Explorer. I don’t know about other browsers, as I don’t use them. Has anyone else encountered this?

  Log out of wordpress, clear your browser cache and cookies, restart your browser and then try again.

  Most likely it was a corrupted file in your browser’s cache that was causing the issue.
