Getting images on to homepage
-
Hi there,
Forgive me if this is a repetitive post. I’m using a premium template that my brother bought a while ago, and it looks great! It’s going to be an article based website, and there’s space for pictures above/beside the article titles on the homepage, but I can’t figure out how to get photos there. The tutorial says that the first image of the article will be displayed, but we don’t want to have images within the articles themselves. I’ve tried digging around for answers but I’m new to wordpress and unfamiliar with the terminology that I should be searching for so I haven’t found much! I read somewhere about a ‘featured image’ button when you attach a photo to a post, but my wordpress (3.3) doesn’t have that option. Is there a way to add this, and if there is would this put my photos on the homepage, and link to the connected article without having it on the post?
Many thanks.
