Getting inundated with spam approval email messages from my website

    For the past month and a half, I have been getting emails from my website secure form approval….mostly Russian in origin. They pop up on my outlook email….I junk them and then block them. They all have an ‘SRSO=…’ typre of address. Around 7:05 pm every evening, they start up again. If I do not check my messages, they keep going and they have been sending more and more every 15 minutes. Last night, I found 200 emails from them that were sent over the course of 90 minutes. If I didn’t block them, they would be sending me these 24/7 and it seems like they are increasing exponentially as time passes. My WordPress is up to date. I think this is a robo-program trying to figure out how to hack my website. How do I get this to stop? Shouldn’t WordPress have some feature that prevents this sort of thing?
