Getting Menu Links to Jump to Specific Location
-
I tried to create a link on my menu to take me to a specific location on my website but if I’m on any page other than the front page it won’t load. For example:
My menu has ‘Contact Us’ which location is on the first page. When I go to the ‘Blog’ page and try clicking on ‘Contact Us’ it does not take me back to the first page and to that location.
Here is a link to the website: http://www.renesansdevelopment.com
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Please try using absolute urls in your custom menu links.
Replace #kontakt with http://www.renesansdevelopment.com/#kontakt
If it doesn’t work, or if you need any further help with your site, please try posting your question in the WordPress.org support forums.
The forum you’ve posted this thread in only provides support for sites hosted here at WordPress.com. As your site is not hosted here, we are unable to provide support for it.
There are 2 different versions of WordPress – .com and .org. Each has separate support forums and documentation. To learn about the differences between the two versions, please see this guide.
Good luck!

Thanks! It kind of worked and didn’t. I have two languages on my website, and the Polish side works great now, it’s the English side that won’t jump properly. I’ve tried multiple ways of writing it:
http://www.renesansdevelopment.com/?lang=en/#contact
http://www.renesansdevelopment.com/#contact/?lang=enbut nothing works.

Please try using:
http://www.renesansdevelopment.com/?lang=en#contact
If you need any further help with this, please try contacting the developer of your premium theme or layout plugin for support.
