  Am I already available to all the search engines by default? Also, how do I make sure i’m on Pinterest, Linked-In, etc.?

  Here is a document that explains how Google and search engines relate to your WordPress.com site:

  As for Pinterest and Linked-In and other social networks, we do not post anything to those sites for you, but there are many ways in which you can place your content on them or encourage others to do so. This document talks about that topic:

  when I click on the site you suggest above I get settings, but there is no box like what is shown. It has account info but nothing about privacy settings. Can you tell me step by step how to get to this? I have tried everything!!

  Going to Settings–>Reading will get you to a page that has those setting options. The grey box in the example image is just be to highlight it for the instructions. Here is a screenshot of what the Settings–>Reading page looks like:
