Hi I thought I transferred everything over to web flow for my new website but it was still relying on the domain through WordPress and I just cancelled it. How do I get it back?

Canceling a domain does not make it immediately available to repurchase elsewhere. Here are the available options for you:
Wait: You can wait about five days from cancellation for the domain to be released. So long as no one else buys it before you do, you can purchase it again with another provider.
Repurchase the Domain: We can send an invoice and restore the domain. You’ll be able to point it to a new host as soon as it’s restored, then transfer the registration after 60 days.
Repurchase a Plan: To host your site here, buy an annual plan, skip the domain option, and update us here.

Correct, if you are hosting the domain elsewhere, there is no need to make it primary (the domain you see when you visit the site). So disregard what I previously mentioned.
it still says that the domain is parked?
If you refresh, your site should appear. It may take a bit of time for the domain to propagate everywhere, but it is officially back up and restored.

That’s correct. While you can purchase a domain without a plan, to have your domain be your primary domain, you need a paid plan. Otherwise, your domain will redirect to your free *.wordpress.com URL.

Can you clarify what you mean by “transfer”? And what did you change the DNS to?
Regarding DNS changes, those can take up to 48 hours to fully propagate across the internet, so those changes would not be immediate.
