Getting My Domain Name Back

  I didn’t realize my domain expired and now I cannot renew it, what are the steps of getting it back?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I’m afraid your domain has the status of “pending delete” which means that we cannot recover it. You will need to wait for the registrar to release the domain to be registered. This should happen shortly, but can sometimes take a few weeks.

  thank you for the reply.. Is there a way for me to contact the registrar?? How can I make sure that someone else doesn’t take that address??

  At this point, there is nothing that you can do to prevent that except to keep your eyes out and re-register it again as soon as it becomes available. I realize that is a frustrating thing to hear, but it is the reality of the situation, I’m afraid.

  I would encourage you to set up auto-renewal and make sure that your contact information is up to date to prevent this from happening again in the future.
