Getting My Domain Registered with WordPress.com AGAIN
-
Hello,
I recently deleted a domain name I thought was just pointing to WordPress.com not actually owned by you. But I guess it was. The site is still viewable from the backend but the domain name is not working anymore. I really need to change the name servers to point to
ns6605.hostgator.com
ns6606.hostgator.comIs this possible? I saw one warning about deleting the site and I paid $18 to have the domain name, so how could it not be in existence anymore? The domain was originally with Wild West Domains but they no longer have access to the name servers. They say it will take up to 60 days to get the domain registered with them again after deleting form WordPress.com I do not want to wait that long.
So can I please RE-register my domain with WordPress.com again? So that I can finally change the name servers the right way?

I can try and reverse the cancellation. I will let you know if I am successful, it typically takes 12-48 hours.

You will need to log into the account that owns that site. You might try using secondary or older email addresses in the password recovery tool:
