Getting my domain unlocked
-
Three months ago WordPress locked my domain, http://www.worldbanknews.org. Despite a long correspondence with WordPress help staff it is still locked. The only reason I have been given for this is a vague allegation that there is phishing or malware on the site. No evidence was given for this. I have certainly not been phishing, and can find no evidence of malware. I have twice been told that registry have contacted me about this problem, but they have not done so. Please could somebody advise how I can get this speedily resolved? WordPress staff put more money in my account (not requested by me) for me to open another domain, but I need the existing one, because it is on printed material which costs hundreds of pounds to reprint. I have seen a firm on the internet advertising that it can get domains unlocked for a fee, but I am wary of this route, because I do not know whether they are phishing, and because I do strongly believe that WordPress should resolve this issue for me.
I would be grateful for any assistance anyone can give me, but please bear in mind that I am not a computer geek…
