getting my (email visible only to moderators and staff) email to work

    Hi there, I received below from CrazyDomains who supply my domain name. I don’t understand what I need to do on WordPress to fix this. Please advise. My email is (email visible only to moderators and staff).
    I can be contacted on mobile +61 (0)430016001. My name is Alex, I’m Sonny’s partner and do all the admin including the web site. Thanks

    Hi auxclass,

    Thanks for that. I tried the instructions. A friend had already put some info in that wasn’t redirecting. I left that in and added

    mail.sonnysgardening.com.au as A record to 27.124.119.225
    and your MX record simply to mail.sonnysgardening.com.au

    into the mix. Except MX required a number of some sort so I just put 10. I’m really lost and frustrated.

    The fact that I have paid for a domain name and have paid WordPress for something, not much, I would expect a little more assistance. Still I’m learning lots as I blunder around.

    Just thankful I never changed our advertising to reflect (email visible only to moderators and staff) just sticking with the gmail for now.

    Formatting the records is very critical and not always obvious

    If you put EXACTLY what you have put into your blog here – post the info between the “code” tags at the top of this window –

    I will flag this for the staff to help or another person in the forum might also help – when I moved my email I had to get extra help – the staff is a bit backed up at this point so they might be a bit slow to respond

    Hi auxclass. Thanks. Don’t mind waiting for them to contact me if I know they will.

    Below is what I get when I click edit DNS. I have emphasised what I just added. The remainder my friend put in. Also the A record changed to what is below even though I typed in mail.sonnysgardening.com.au Any help appreciated.

    CNAME email email.sonnysgardening.com.au.
    A mail 27.124.119.225
    CNAME mail pop.sonnysgardening.com.au.
    MX 10 mail.sonnysgardening.com.au.
    MX 10 mailstore1.sonnysgardening.com.au.
    MX 0 smtp.sonnysgardening.com.au.

    The priority numbers which you entered for the MX records may not be correct.

    In this case, I recommend double-checking all of the entered records with your email provider.
