  Looking through the forum there seems to be several with this issue. I am one of them. So far there have been no solutions. I hope this gets fixed soon.

  This is what Staff have stated:

  Since they don’t have specific spam links or advertising in their comments, we can’t distinguish them from other comments. The only solution is to manage these comments like any other comments, approve, delete or mark as spam.

  You can also change the settings mentioned here to approve comments before published:

  I saw that thread, but wasn’t sure it was a main one. I posted my own earlier, but I have other issues attached to it as well with comments not nesting, etc. I’ll pop onto the post you linked to.

  You’re welcome and I’m sorry about my first response above. Thanks for being gracious about that. It’s always best to keep all folks with the same issue in the same thread, as we don’t want anyone to fall between the cracks.

  I misread things quite a bit, so it’s ok.

  You are not going to believe a doozy I did on this forum. You might have seen it. For whatever reason I always saw “modlook” as modlock. I rarely ever used it but for a spam post or two. It wasn’t until the person with the deleted post showing on the reader that I tagged it for someone needing help. Then I saw your reply and somehow your tag stuck out as different than mine. I got it now! :)
