Getting onto a blog-feed

    Hi,

    I am totally new to the blogging so I am hoping someone can give me a step by step method of getting my blog appear onto a blog feed.

    Do I need permission from the person who hosts the site? Do they need to put my blog on their blogfeed? What do I do with my blog on my end?

    The blogfeed I want to subscribe to is: http://fashionplanet.worldofsl.com/

    I just dont know how all those people got their blogs to appear on that page….please help the n00b! :)

    You don’t need their permission. But on that site it’s subscriptions. I don’t know how that works. Maybe if you subscribe, then it automatically adds your site there. Try clicking one of the four buttons under Subscribe and see after whatever if it automatically adds you. I use a blog reader like Bloglines and subscribe to their site and then this will appear on my Bloglines account instead of me going to their site:

    http://fashionplanet.worldofsl.com/atom.xml

    Hopefully someone else can help.

    I just checked again and it’s like a blogroll and blog feed in one. I’ve never seen a site like that where the site link is there and next to it is the rss feed symbol and clicking that gets the feed.
