Getting people to read your blog

  Any tips on how to get readers? I sometimes feel that I am writing more of a personal diary and it seems that very few people who “follow” actually read any posts after the first one. Is my blog that dull?

  Hey there,
  There are various ways to increase traffic on your blog. Blogging often, and using categories and tags will make your posts more visible in search engine results. Be careful not to use too many categories and tags (under 15 is recommended). Please take a look:

  Moreover, you can share your posts on various social networking sites and also tell about it to your peers for getting quick traffics. Last but not the least, you have to be patient on your side. It seems your blog is 4 month old. So don’t get panicked !! By the way, your blog is awesome. Keep going :D (Y)

  click on the “Member” under your name or your name in the upper right corner of the screen to see all of the threads you have posted into

  Give the link to all of your friends, get a twitter and a facebook if you don’t already have them. post it in both. list it as your website under your personal info in all social networking sites. you can also purchase adspace on facebook, so it will pop up on people’s pages. print business cards with your name, the blog name and a brief explanatory title. give them to people you meet. leave small piles at coffee shops, etc. You can also try SEOclerks, many freelancers on this site provide traffic at a cheap rate.

  NEVER EVER PAY FOR TRAFFIC.

  For one thing, it will get your blog suspended. For another, it’s scuzzy and spammy.

  Share at least one post from your blog on social media twice a week. I’ve only been blogging for a few days and that’s been really helpful. Also, show followers on social media how awesome and interesting you are based on what you post everyday. When they love your short daily posts, they’ll be more willing to read the longer stuff you blog about.
