Getting Posts to Appear Under the Right Heading

  Absolute beginner here. I can’t work out how to get my posts to go under the right heading. I have created a ‘Blog’ page on my new WordPress website, as well as several other pages. I just uploaded a blog, I created a new category for ‘Blog’ on the right hand side under ‘Add New Post’, but it didn’t end up showing up under the main Blog heading.
  But if you click on the main ‘Blog’ heading, it’s not there, you just get my initial introductory post.
  How do I get a blog post to show up under the main heading ‘Blog’, and so on for the rest of the headings?
