getting rid of a frame on pictures
-
Hi,
I would like to get rid of the grey borders on all my photos/images. Help!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Those are part of the Caption Code. If you get rid of the Caption code by either not filling one in when uploading the image OR by going back and editing out the square bracket Caption code in the HTML editor, the grey frames will go away.

I’m having the same problem, except I’m using wordpress for free so I don’t have access to much. Is there a way I can get rid of the frames even though I’m using wordpress for free?

You’re welcome and I’m sorry it wasn’t the answer you wanted to hear. Happy blogging! :)

Tks, timethief. She said grey in her original post, so I figured…
If she changes her theme, would that do it?

I’m sorry about not providing a link. Here. Also, I’m using the theme “Twenty Eleven”.Thank you all for sharing your knowledge. Obviously, I’m new to this. Studying webdesign and coding, though. I appreciate your feedback!

ah, yes, I am here. I thought I had replied to this post. I am still having the same problem, but I suppose it comes with the theme? I have the upgrade. I am not sure what you mean by providing a link. I haven’t been asked this before and thought you could go directly to my site by clicking on my gravatar? The border appears around all images.

Hi hartiatech.
No, the gravatar isn’t clickable. Providing a link means pasting the URL of your blog when you post here, or making your username link to your blog (as you’ve now done).
Some themes display borders around images, some don’t. You can change that by editing the code of each image, if you don’t have the Custom Design upgrade, and you can change it once for all if you have the upgrade.
But… “The border appears around all images”? The blog now linked to your username has only one image, and that image has no border. So obviously you’re talking about a different blog.
So:
a) Start a new thread in the CSS section of the forum.
b) Link to the blog in question. CSS is theme-specific: we can’t answer your question if we can’t see the blog.
