Getting rid of "blog at WordPress. The Origin Theme….." at the bottom of page

  Hi,

  does anyone know how to get rid of the writing at the bottom of the screen in the Origin Theme, presuming this is possible at all.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hello,
  Technically you could remove those words at the bottom (also called attribution) using CSS and a paid upgrade, but that would violate the terms of service (TOS) so it’s not advisable to do so.

  Here’s the part from the TOS page. Automattic is the company offering this service:
  Attribution. Automattic reserves the right to display attribution links such as ‘Blog at WordPress.com,’ theme author, and font attribution in your blog footer or toolbar. Footer credits and the WordPress.com toolbar may not be altered or removed regardless of upgrades purchased.

  you couldn’t also possibly explain the smile, which appears at the bottom far left?

  The smile is part of the Stats system
