Getting rid of “comments off”

  We don’t want to allow comments on our post. And I’m just wondering how to get rid of where it says “comments off” below each post.

  You can’t. It’s part of how the posts display. It’s stuck there just like the post tags that lead to WP global tags.

  Editing the theme will allow you to get rid of it but theme editing is not allowed here. If it’s a real pain in the *cough* for you, an option is to host WP elsewhere and edit that portion of the theme yourself.

  Other people have reported it to be an eyesore as well in the past.
