Getting Rid of “Home” Heading
-
I’m having trouble understanding the process in deleting the “HOME” page when I have a static front page set. I can’t seem to find the attributes module . . .
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The “home” tab cannot be removed or hidden. It represents the main page of the blog. It isn’t a “page” in the true sense as it is created on the fly by the wordpress software when your home page is requested by a browser.
Since you have a static page set as your front page, then that becomes the “home” page and the home tab will lead to that page.
You can hide the “About Me And This Blog” page (which you have set as the static front page) from the top navigation if you wish. If you open that page in the page editor, to the right of the text area, or possibly below the text area you will see a module named “attributes”. There you can set a parent page for the “About Me And This Blog” page and then it will disappear from the top navigation.
If you do not want the a home page to show in the top navigation, then you will have to change themes to one that does not have a home tab: http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/05/06/the-home-tab/ .
