Getting rid of linked border around icons in sidebar
-
Hi, all,
I can’t figure out how to get rid of the intrusive white border around my social network icons in my right sidebar. I know that them being linked may be part of the issue–is this something that’s just part of my Jentri theme? Not sure what to do. Thanks! The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I do not see a white border using Firefox 4.0.
- As I don’t see this and you do that points a browser issue so try changing your browser settings, refreshing the page, or clearing the browser cache and cookies – instructions for specific browsers.
- Note that when you make adjustments to your browser settings — changing privacy settings, deleting cookies or increasing security — you will need to close your window and restart the browser before those new settings become effective.
- You could try upgrading your browser. http://browsehappy.com
- You could try using another browser.
Which browser and version of it are you using?

Hi, guys,
Thanks. I’m using Firefox 3.6 because I don’t like the new 4.0 look. Lol I’ll try clearing my cache, etc., and seeing if that makes a difference, although I still saw the outlines with IE 8. -
Clearing your cache etc won’t do anything, because that’s the way FF3.6 and IE display linking images. To get rid of the borders you need to change your HTML. Turn this:
<img src=[etc etc]
to this:
<img style="border:none;" src=[etc etc] -
