Getting rid of space between widget and page

  Hi!
  I’m wondering how I can delete the off-white lines separating my page and the widgets. Also, im trying to get rid of the ‘page on top of the background look’. Is there any way I can just have a blank white page?
  I’d appreciate all help and thanks in advance!
