Getting rid of the 'about' at the foot of posts in Selecta

Hi there,
Searched long and hard but haven’t been able to find the solution – I’ve just gone over to Selecta and have made the necessary tweaks, it all looks great I think, but I have two issues I’d like some help with please:
1) At the foot of every post, there appears an about box that I’d like to get rid of (I already have similar info in a widget)
2) On the home page I’ve got the slideshow and latest posts, then below, it is repeating the posts that already appear in the latest posts. Is there any way to change that so the posts aren’t repeating the above information. (Hope this makes sense…)

Go to ‘Users’ -> ‘My Profile’ and clear the text in the ‘About you’ field. This will remove the about box below your posts.
Change the “Show sticky posts in a featured slider on the front page” option in your Theme Options to prevent multiple posts on your homepage.

Thanks for getting back to me!
Great – sorted the first problem and eradicated the About You issue. Sorry about that, I looked and looked but couldn’t find it. Lots of nooks and crannies in WP.
The second issue I didn’t explain properly, so I’ll have another go:
I want the featured slider to appear and I also want the latest posts to be under that. Below that at the moment I’ve got three other posts which run alongside the widgets. Is there any way to determine what those posts are, because they are doubling up with the Latest posts. I’d prefer to have all different information on that page if possible.
Hope that’s cleared it up somewhat.

Unfortunately, there’s no way around that.
Selecta was really designed as a photo or video centric theme, so much of the layout assumes that your focus is image related.

Much appreciated. I take your point about it being a photo/video centric theme, but I’m not sure why would that format would preclude variety on the front page?
Anyway, small issue in the end. I’m happy with the new theme and enjoying what it’s doing!
