getting rid of the annoying wordpress tagline on the header

  Hello,

  I’m wanting to rid my header of that extremely annoying ‘just another wordpress.com site’ tagline that appears, no matter what I seem to do to the header. I’ve uploaded a photo for my header, which I assumed would finally do the trick, but it hasn’t. Help….please……

  You can change your blog title and.or optional “just another WordPress.com blog” tagline at any time on this page > Settings > General

  Hi Mark,
  have you tried this:
  dashboard—>settings—>general—>change tagline—>save changes

  And if you don’t have to even have a tagline if you don’t want one. Just don’t type anything in the tagline box at all.

  I just visited the blog. The blogger has already followed instructions and replaced the Tagline with a unique one on the blog linked to the username.
