Getting rid of the little image on the left of headers
-
Hey there, I’m having some trouble trying to get rid of the little smiley or image on the left of my main headers of my content in my blog. I was wondering whether anybody knew how I could disable or get rid of the little images as I having been trying with no luck for some time now.
my blog is jrsarabadu.wordpress.com
Thanks,
J-reu

It depends on the theme you use. I used to see that goofy little smiley when using cutline, but as soon as I switched to redoable lite it went away.

That “goofy little smiley” is called Angela and it is on every site here at wordpress.COM. It tracks your stats. It is in different places on each theme but it is always there.

Are you getting stats? If so, then it’s there. The fact that you haven’t located it, that it may be dark on a dark background doesn’t change the fact that it’s not there.

I do wonder why more themes don’t have it coded to be colour on colour, though. It doesn’t particularly irritate me but I can see why some people don’t want it on their blogs.

It alarmed me the first time I saw it. Which, in fact, is why it’s called Angela: because she’s always there, watching, and she kind of freaks you out when you notice her. How she and Dr Mike ever got together I’ll never know; it’s sort of like Tron, only with an unhappy ending.
