Getting rid of uncategorised/deleting banner

  Hi,

  Would anyone be able to tell me how to get rid of the ‘uncategorised’ tab on my Home page? Also, how do I delete the banner at the top of the page? My logo doesn’t fit well there and I want to move everything up.

  It looks like you have a custom menu, with the Uncategorized category page included; either that or this theme always has a link to the category page of the default category. To change it, write some posts, and categorize them with something else. Then go to Settings->Writing and choose some category other than Uncategorized as your default.

  The lower section of the navigation (lighter grey) will show up to 10 of your most used categories depending on the length of the category names.

  If you do not want the category names to show, go to appearance > menu, create a blank menu (add nothing to it) and then select that in the secondary menu pulldown in the theme locations module.
