Getting rid of “What’s Hot”

    Hi–I’d like to know how to get rid of the “What’s Hot” features on the right hand side when you open up the blog. Our blog is for teen girls and we don’t think that some of the blogs you link to are appropriate, and therefore our whole blog site could be blocked by schools.

    I’m afraid you can’t. We’re on a shared environment and the files are not editable. If you were to edit them, then you would be editing them for everybody here and they would be doing the same to you.

    Best bet probably would be to grab a copy of either the wordpress software or the WordPress multiuser software if you want to run multiple blogs and find yourself a host.

    I think you’re going to run into the same issues pretty much with any free blogging host. The same issue exists with Blogger, Typepag, Geocities, etc…
