Getting rid of WPcomstaging

    Hi,

    I originally had a business plan for aliceinmuse.wordpress.com and had the domain mapped to aliceinmuse.com

    I did not renew my business plan and saw my URL has changed to aliceinmuse.wpcomstaging.com

    I was wondering how to change this back to aliceinmuse.wordpress.com

    The site I need help with is [visible only to staff] (email visible only to moderators and staff). It is not hosted by WordPress.com, but it is connected with Jetpack.

    We’ll be happy to help you with that.
    We’ll need to revert your site to the state before uploading the first plugin/custom theme.

    That may cause all the content to be added afterward to be lost, so before we proceed, I recommend creating a backup of your site.

    Export all your content, import it to a free backup site (you can create one right now), and check if everything was moved successfully. If it was, let us know, and we’ll proceed with the revert.

    If anything is lost after that, you’ll be able to bring over the missing content from your backup site.
