Getting Set Up With Pro

    Hello, I currently have the WordPress plugin a website hosted by hostgator. What I want to do is setup a Pro account with WordPress so that I can access live chat support 24/7

    I don’t have a site linked to this WordPress.com account

    Hi there,

    I’m not sure what you’re referring to – we don’t have anything called a Pro plan. We offer 24/7 live chat support on the annual Business and eCommerce plans, but those are only available for sites hosted on our servers.

    If you want to migrate your entire site, including the theme and plugins to us, so it’s hosted with us instead of with Hostgator, you’ll need our Business Plan – the migration itself is handled through the Jetpack plugin.

    If you’re trying to upgrade to a pro hosting plan offered by Hostgator, please contact their support directly for help – our plans are not available for sites hosted with other providers, and we don’t provide support for sites that aren’t hosted here on WordPress.com.
