Getting Slideshows to work with ORVIS theme

  Am new to WordPress.com and building my first Site orvis2019.wordpress.com/blog/. Am trying to set up a gallery so have created a Portfolio Page and loaded a project called ‘Grimsby’ containg a gallery of 4 images. I’d like it to run a slideshow when I open ‘Grimsby’ but it shows the full images in a scroll down way. Can u help me please ?

  Hi baronardup,

  Thanks for reporting this behaviour. It is a known issue with inserting tiled galleries into portfolio projects, when using the Orvis theme. Our developers are already looking into what is causing this to happen and while I’m unable to give you any timescales, I’ll be in touch when I have more news :)

  I’m afraid there isn’t a slideshow block in the new editor just yet but this is on our list of blocks to add.
