  Hello, I didn’t realize if I downloaded a theme for somewhere else that I would have to join as a WordPress Business customer and pay another $300. Am I missing something or is that how they get ya? TIA!

  You’re right, to upload any third party theme, you should have a Business Plan.

  If you want to use the third party theme then you need to upload that theme to your WordPress site which is only allowed in the business plan.
