Getting started
-
We are trying to start a church website and we are looking to get the business plan.
-First, we are planning to post video recording of the services and pictures so people can re-watch and re-listen and download the content, how unlimited is the unlimited? Like how long can I keep those videos up on the website?
-Second, would we be able to have the services live on the website? So people can log onto the website and watch the live stream? Would it slow down the website if hundreds of people log in at the same time?
-Third, what is the total cost? Is there any hidden fees? Is the $25 a month all that we need to pay for all the features that we need?
-Fourth, is it possible to have multiple donation boxes where people can donate for the church? How much is it to add this feature? Do you guys have that feature or do I need to find another company like paypal or something along those lines?
-Fifth, is the website secure? Do you protect us from viruses and hackers? Is the website gonna crash? The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi –
Thanks for getting in touch. I’m happy to answer these questions.
1. Videos don’t have a limit and won’t be removed. If you decide to downgrade to a plan without videos, you can’t add more but old ones will still work. No traffic limit, biggest thing is using a good theme and good plugins, and minimizing how many the site requires. Hundreds of views shouldn’t be issue as they’ll generally be loading page once, and the live streaming service will do the heavy lifting on it.
2. We don’t offer this ourselves, but you can embed from any service that offers it. Facebook might be easiest and should be free
(This is assuming it offers an embed. I’d check in to that)3.There aren’t any hidden costs or fees. It’s a 1 or 2 year plan but not monthly billing. The charge is for the annual amount at the time of purchase. Let me know if you are interested in a coupon.
4. Yes. PayPal or Simple Payments. Even a plugin of your choice.
5. The SSL is free, can enable two-factor, we take backups and have login protections in place.
Write back to me here with any follow up questions.
