  Good afternoon,

   

  Your website was recommended as a good resource for me to market/sell the greeting cards I design. My cursory look through your site had me VERY IMPRESSED!  Wow, I can’t wait to start.

   

  My question is:  I plan to launch my business website on Valentine’s Day of 2020. Is there a way for me to build my website without paying the monthly charge until I’m actually ready to launch or, in order to start developing it, do I have to start paying the monthly rate?

   

  I will be selling only greeting cards and a variety of other paper-greeting-type goods on this site.  Can you recommend the type of site that will suffice for my needs?

   

  As well, I would like my site to be a dual/site where, alond with selling my products, I would be able to blog. Is this an option?

  There are no monthly plans. Upgrades need to be paid for annually (or for 2 years) in advance. You can start with a free plan to get the feel of using WordPress.com but if your ultimate aim is to sell things at some point you’d need to upgrade to a Business plan or even an eCommerce plan.
