  Hi there,

  1) Must I decide on a domain now?

  All sites on WordPress.com get a free WordPress.com or .blog subdomain when the site is created, that functions just like any regular subdomain, and your site is fully online and accessible at that subdomain (provided you set it to public).

  So you can experiment and build your site at that free address, even upgrade the site while still using the free address, and only add a domain once you’ve decided what you want to use.

  2) Can i play around with free plan of Woo Commerce first?

  The WooCommerce plugin is free, but installing that plugin on a WordPress.com site requires a Business Plan on our end – it’s not possible to install plugins on the WordPress.com free plan.
