  So the whole thing about the ‘affcamo.zip’ file, unzipping and all of that;
  I’m totally lost . Can somebody walk me through it? Thanks.

  Hi there,

  It sounds like you’re referring to a theme or plugin file.

  Uploading themes and plugins isn’t supported here at WordPress.com. Those are special features, available when you maintain and host your site elsewhere, using the downloadable WordPress software.

  The good news is that much of what folks want to accomplish is possible at WordPress.com anyway.

  We have hundreds of themes you can use at https://theme.wordpress.com

  If it’s a plugin, can you describe what you’re using it for? There may be an alternative.

  Well it’s right on the affiliatecamo website, the video that says
  ‘How to install Affiliate Camo’ right on the first page. When you
  play the video he says that he won’t go into some ‘tech’ stuff which
  I don’t know how to do.

  Yeah, it looks like it’s a plugin, and also to an affiliate system. You will only be able to install plugins on a self-hosted WordPress.org site. You can check the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org on the link below:
