  Trying to set up my first blog but can not get past step 3 where WP asked for a domain. I don’t have a domain, just wish to use wordpress.com but that does not get me from step 3 to step 4. Very frustrating.

  Can indeed be frustrating. So, in step two you picked a theme. Now, in step three, the box is asking for a domain or keyword. So, this is where you would type the name of your proposed site.

  For example, I too want to create a new site called FreestyleIR So, I would type FreestyleIR in that box. Then I will see a bunch of options below to choose from. In my case the free of charge domain freestyleir.wordpress.com is available. I will pick that one. Or you can pick one of the for a charge domains that don’t have WordPress in the domain.

  That did help. WP seems to be mixing up domain and title. Thank you.
