Getting started; please point me in the right direction?

  Hi
  I’m completely new. I’ve created an account. I see absolutely NO place where I should start to create/edit my blog; and i’ve been all over the faq; there’s no entry for ‘create blog’ or ‘getting started’ etc. i have been able to update my profile, but see no place where I can set up the blog itself. i went to my blogpage: http://www.ellymay.wordpress.com and it says “you’re looking for somethign that is not here’. Any clues, please?

  If you go to the main page, http://wordpress.com you will see that there is a signup page for blogs! It is located at:

  http://wordpress.com/signup/

  As well, all URL’s are without the www in it! Even going to:

  http://ellymay.wordpress.com

  Should bring up the ability to get that blog if it still exists (not taken)

  Hope that clears things up!

  It seems that blog is taken, but keep trying names you like and you will find one! Happy hunting!

  Ah! It seems you already had that blog and you just couldn’t access it! Barry has fixed it for you. You should be able access your blog admin now with your username and password at:

  http://ellymay.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
