You can follow these instructions on how to remove the comment boxes http://en.support.wordpress.com/enable-disable-comments
I would like to create tables. How do I add the table functionality?
Take a look at: http://en.support.wordpress.com/using-html/#creating-a-tables
3) I would like to create buttons (Like ET Box, ET Button, ET Tabs) How do I add that functionality?
Could you please show me an example of this?
I have uploaded two PDF documents as media that I want to view in the browser by clicking a link. I cannot get it to do that, please help me with that procedure.
Uploading file on your WordPress.com site only allows you to insert a download link to a file. If you wish to embed the actual document into a post or page, you can use external services such as:
Scribd: http://en.support.wordpress.com/scribd/
Slideshare: http://en.support.wordpress.com/slideshows/slideshare/ (optimized for presentation slides) -
I do want to create a link to the PDF’s (not embed them). When I did that, they do not show up. Can you help me with how to create a link for PDF’s that are already uploaded in the media section?

Ok, I know how to do HTML tables, but the others who will be keeping this site up to date don’t. Is there an add-in for a GUI table creator?
-
For an example of the ET boxes, go to:
http://www.new-england.k12.nd.us/home/powerschool/
I am the tech coordinator for this school and our state provides us this website creation tool (which is wordpress based) -
BTW, the PDF’s do show up now, but they take me to an intermediary page. Can that be avoided (look at Events page on the neorlc.org site and click on Newsletter)
-
I see that you have put two calendar links at http://neorlc.org/events/ that seem to work fine.
You can follow the instructions at http://en.support.wordpress.com/using-html/#creating-a-tables on how to create tables in your Text Editor.

Ok, so I created a table using HTML on this page:
http://neorlc.org/about-us/council-members/
and it is not showing up in the right place, but rather under all of the ancillary stuff like the search box and social media icons. How can I fix that? -
If figured my table problem out. I forgot to add the </table> at the end before I viewed it.
Thanks! -
