Getting Started With Mimbo (Mimbo For Dummies)

  This is my first website and I have a few basic questions:

  1) Do I need to get my own website host to use the Mimbo theme or can I just use the built-in WordPress host? (If I need a host can you recommend some inexpensive ones)

  2)Can I build a Mimbo site from scratch on WordPress or can I only convert a WordPress blog that’s already set up.

  3)Can anyone explain to me how to do:
  Step 2) Move the folder into “/wp-content/themes/”

  We cannot help without a link to your blog, starting with http. You cannot add external themes to a WP.com blog.

  1) You need to be self-hosted. (My About page of the blog linked to my name mentions my host if you’re interested; I won’t pimp it here.)

  2)Blogs at wordpress.com can only use the themes that are in the dashboard.

  3)You can’t do that at wordpress.com. See #2.
