Getting stuck on the loading screen when selecting the free plan.

I have tried using chrome, explorer, and safari to create my wordpress website for a school assignment. I have also tried the incognito window and still not luck. I choose my domain as the free version and then on the next page I select the free plan. After this it brings me to a loading page where it says things like “making it beautiful”. I get stuck on this loading page each time. I have tried letting it load for 3 hours and still nothing. I have tried it on 4 different versions of laptops / devices and still no luck. Not sure what else I can try and do.

Just to help confirm, have you had a chance to try either of the following?
- Clear your browser’s cache: https://wordpress.com/support/browser-issues/#clear-your-browser-cache
- Try from another network (such as a mobile hotspot or a different Wifi connection)
I ask in case this behavior may be isolated to your current Internet Service Provider, which could explain why different devices aren’t working as expected.
