Getting tags off the front page

Today I looked at my blog and something was different. There seemed to be a lot more text under the header. I soon noticed my blog has suddenly decided to put tags on the front page.
This makes the comments less clear, and just looks scruffy. I want to have so it was like it use to be, the tags not on the front page but were on the individual pages.
Is this just something that I’ll never be able to change now? Or is there a way to deal with it?
P.S. What is with things suddenly changing all the time? What happened to the updates we used to get when things were changing? It’s bad enough changing the editor without changing the front page!

Thank you for writting about this problem, which I have too. Suddenly the tags were at the front page, in my case at a photo blog. It looks very disturbing, and I can´t wait have them removed,- but how?
Like you, I wish there would be some kind of information when there are changes like this. -

There is no information about this new function in the FAQ and no hint how to switch it off.

Yesterday tags were added to themes that were missing them so that all of the themes are consistent. The themes that were missing tags never had them added when tagging support was added to WordPress.com.

Not only are tags showing up on my front page (hate them) but the layout has suddenly changed. Text now wraps around pictures no matter how it’s formatted. Not happy about WordPress arbitrarily altering the look of my blog.

Most of the themes didn’t get updated to include the CSS styles for the image alignments in the new Dashboard. These styles were added this morning. If you don’t want alignments on your images, you can click on them in the editor and then click the image icon on the image toolbar that pops up, which will load all of the image options. -
I just deleted all the tags from my front page. Won’t be using them anymore. Doing that seems to have fixed the alignment problem.

Does this mean the ChaoticSoul theme by Bryan Veloso was updated? It still doesn’t show tags in my posts or categories in posts either.

Have you changed the light theme again?? If so, what is the reason?
All the text at the sidebar has suddenly moved to the buttom of the page. This is not a good idea, no one are seeing it now. I would like to have it back. -
