Getting the “read more” option so readers don’t have to keep scrolling down
-
Right now on my blog, all the posts are listed in entirety so the reader has to keep scrolling down. I want to change it so that it has the “read more” feature taht I see on some wordpress blogs — where just the first 1-2 paragraphs of a post show up with a link underneath that says “read more” and that takes the reader to the full version.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I have a similar question, I know how to do it in a post, with Alt+shift+T but how do I do it in a text widget on the sidebar?

@vagaregirl: Please search the Support info pages and the forum before asking questions on such standard matters.

@emains: Not possible in a text widget. What you can do is either create a scrollbox or link to a page with the complete content.
And please paste the exact URL of your blog when asking questions here, or link your nickname to your blog (as explained in the Sticky 8 Things to Know Before Posting). We usually need that to give a relevant answer.
