Getting this message. Why? Valid?

The website “https://wordpress.com” is requesting 10 MB of disk space to store “calypso” as a database on your disk. Currently, this website is allowed to use 5 MB of disk space. Why am I getting this and is it valid. What does it mean?

Hi there,
You’re using Safari, correct?
All websites on the internet store information on your browser in what is called the cache. This allows websites to load faster on your computer as your browser can load some information out of the cache, instead of having to fetch the data from the web. This also means you use less data every time you load a page you’ve loaded before.
Calypso is the name of the dashboard you see when you click on My Sites. For some reason Safari sometimes decide that Calypso is too big and that it needs your permission to store the Calypso files in the cache, but it’s safe to approve that message. The Calypso files are supposed to be stored in your browser and won’t damage your computer in any way.
