Getting to Word Press via Network Solutionw
-
I registered my domain with Network Solutions, paid for hosting and Word Press, but I cannot get to the dashboard. I just get ‘forbidden.’, so I tried to log on dirextly with Word Press. You do not seem to recognize me or anything I have signed up with through Network Solutions. How do I get on?

Hi there,
If you’re hosted at Network Solutions, it means you’re using the open source WordPress software. That software is made by a community of volunteers on WordPress.org, and for help with that software, you can ask the community in the forums at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
When you installed WordPress at Network Solutions you should have had the opportunity to set an admin username and password for the site, or alternatively Network Solutions would have set those for you and sent them to you via email. If those login credentials don’t work, please contact support at Network Solutions directly for help.
Right now you’re posting in the support forums for the hosting provider, WordPress.com. Your site at Network Solutions have nothing to do with us, so we cannot help you here. Your WordPress.com username account you used to post here, and your WordPress Admin account for your site, are two completely different and separate accounts, and you won’t be able to access your site via your WordPress.com account unless you first connect your site to our service using the Jetpack plugin.
