Getting Tumblr Adverts on My Blog Posts

    Hi,

    I have started getting Tumblr adverts on all my posts at rayoflight2020.data.blog when viewing them on a Windows 10 PC, Kindle or a Android Phone.

    I know I can expect some adverts from WordPress at the end of a post and on the side bar on a Free Plan.

    Can you help and explain what is happening?

    Hi Raymond,

    We show ads on all free sites on WordPress.com. This includes ads from a variety of ad networks, including, among others, Google Adsense ads, and also in-house ads for Automattic products, including WordPress.com, Jetpack, WooCommerce and Tumblr.

    What ads display on your site at any given time depends on the person viewing your site, based on stuff like their location, browser history, whether they opted in to advertising cookies, etc. So no two people visiting your site will see the same ads.

    If you’ve only been seeing in-house ads, it means you’re likely blocking advertising tracking cookies in your browser. That does not mean that’s what other visitors to your site see.
