Getting two images to appear on the same row in a post.

    Hi.

    How do I get two images with captions to line up in the same row of a post? Normally I’d go with columns, but I just can’t seem to be able to do what I want.

    I’ve tried different alignments, making sure the images are small enough to fit side-by-side, tried to delete any spaces between the two images in editing mode etc, still: nothing. The images only appear on top of eachother.

    I am employed by a company that uses wordpress.com. I don’t intend to start a personal blog on wp.com.

    I’m sure I can be told whether or not it is possible to have two captioned images side-by-side, using the editor wp.com provides online without me providing a specific address.
