Getting upload error while trying to upload any photo

I’m trying to add a featured image and some thumb nails to my article but I keep getting upload error when I try to upload something. Also none of my older photos are showing up in my media folder.

Go to http://onmange.wordpress.com/wp-admin/upload.php and see if you have exhausted your free media storage space allocation.
If you upload lots of images you can exhaust that free space allocation quickly. Currently, the only way to get an extra space allocation after you upload the images again, is to purchase an upgrade bundle. https://en.support.wordpress.com/space-upgrade/
