Getting visitors on blog but not replying. Help please.

    Hi everyone,

    Bit new to the blogging experience, or at least trying to get my blog out there for people to read. I have had a few visits to my blog but no replies. Please be brutally honest and tell me some reasons why :). Are my posts too long? Text too small? Terribly written? or what?

    2 months is still a new site.

    I saw where one experienced blogger said his visit to comment ratio was something like 700:1. I have one article on one of my sites that is around 1,000 reads and has yet to have a comment left on it. Another more recent article is at 200+ and no comments yet and it is how not to have the Coast Guard stop you and give you a ticket, and no comments yet either.

    There are other more experienced that will probably give you some thoughts later today.
